Acme Appliance Store lent a hand this holiday season by donating a 40-inch Samsung Smart TV to the Child Advocacy Program (CAP) located at 405 West Third Street in Jamestown. The television will be placed in the waiting room for children to watch while waiting for counseling sessions at CAP.
Acme is a major supporter of CAP’s mission to end child abuse and has been an instrumental donor for CAP’s Diamond Dinner fundraiser each year. CAP’s 6th annual Diamond Dinner is scheduled to take place on April 30, 2016, at Chautauqua Suites. For information on the upcoming Diamond Dinner, contact CAP.
“We are so grateful to Dan and Beth Hocking and everyone at Acme for thinking of us this holiday season” notes Jana McDermott, CAP’s Executive Director. “We want our waiting room to be welcoming and the television is a wonderful addition”.
CAP’s mission is to end child abuse in Chautauqua County. When abuse occurs, CAP coordinates a community response to bring healing, hope and justice to these children and families. CAP is a United Way community partner. For more information about CAP visit www.capjustice.org or call 716-338-9844.
